Md Shahriar Rashid · Senior Software Engineer
I make slow systems fast and fragile systems boring.
I'm Shahriar, a senior software engineer at Enosis Solutions in Dhaka. Three promotions in three years, mostly earned by profiling Node.js services, locking down cloud infrastructure, and refactoring the code everyone else avoided. Open to new roles, remote or on-site, and freelance work.

Experience
Growing into bigger challenges each year.
All at Enosis Solutions, a software services firm in Dhaka. I joined in March 2023 and have been promoted every year since.
Senior Software Engineer II
Mar 2026 – Present
- Designed an event-driven architecture on Node.js and Redis messaging, improving scalability and fault tolerance.
- Moved Azure Storage authentication from connection strings to Managed Identity, removing embedded credentials entirely.
- Integrated Salesforce ticket generation so support cases are created automatically.
- Repaired and stabilized a legacy Pytest framework for API testing.
Senior Software Engineer I
Mar 2025 – Feb 2026
- Cut execution time on CPU-bound work by 55–60% by introducing worker-thread parallelism in Node.js.
- Built a sandboxed Python system for CSV and Parquet processing with enforced cross-table constraints.
- Designed a secure file delivery pipeline behind Azure Front Door, keeping Blob Storage endpoints private.
- Owned feature analysis and design end to end, and mentored junior engineers through code review.
Software Engineer II
Mar 2024 – Feb 2025
- Shipped a scheduler that generates reports on predefined schedules and emails them to users.
- Hardened the auth service with rate limiting, IP blacklisting and key locks to blunt DDoS attempts.
- Reduced table sizes and improved query performance 20–30% through database indexing.
- Migrated two frontend apps from Create React App to Vite, cutting build times 30–40%.
Software Engineer I
Mar 2023 – Feb 2024
- Brought report generation down from O(N³) to O(N²) and added multi-model support.
- Helped build a smart uploader that reads CSV files and assigns them to the right input fields.
- Refactored a legacy codebase around KISS and DRY, clearing critical bugs along the way.

IIUC Competitive Programming Society · Dec 2021 – May 2023
Taught data structures and algorithms in three bootcamps and mentored juniors through their first serious problem sets.
Teaching Assistant, Dept. of CSE
IIUC · Feb 2022 – Jan 2023
Mentored over 100 students through two semesters of the competitive programming course, alongside faculty.
Programming Contest Judge
IIUC
Set and tested problems for three intra-university junior programming contests.
Online judges

About
The unglamorous parts, done well.
I got here through competitive programming: four years of contests at IIUC, 1,200+ solved problems, and a habit of asking what code costs, not just what it does. Somewhere along the way that turned into a career of making production systems faster and harder to break.
The work I'm proudest of rarely demos well. Moving auth off connection strings. An O(N³) report that became O(N²). Build pipelines that stopped wasting everyone's morning. If your team cares about that kind of work, we'll get along.
